The history of OMG goes way back to the days when most of the OMG current members and non members were playing on SSGB Alphamoon. It was never the intent of this article to accuse who is cheating and who is not. The intention of this article is not to criticize or accuse anyone of cheating but to elicit how OMG was formed. This article has been heavy amended to be politically correct. The contribution from ex-SSGB members are too nasty and mean to be shown to the public. As CSS community consists of mainly kids, this group of people is easily misled by people who have an evil mindset. We can only rely on those that have wisdom to see the real truth.

A quote from someone who fought the 2nd World War.... "If you are a good leader, your man will not forsake you. If they forsake you, it only means that you are someone not worth fighting along with."

The story starts in the year 2006, M@de (aka os-Mother) was playing on Hong Kong CSS server. Before being wooed to join SSGB by Captain, Prince, Mother was with HongKong based clan, OS, for a period of time.

From November 2006 to around March 2007, Orgon was in SSGB clan. When he joined SSGB, Ichigo was already there. After Orgon join SSGB, Paladin and M@de joined subsequently. Then, Jac is also being asked by M@de to join SSGB. SSGB was coming along nicely.

M@de help organize and train the SSGB scrim Team. Although still unknown in the SG css community, SSGB players strive to be one of the elites. After the introduction of M@de, Prince claimed that Paladin was cheating and therefore dropped him from SSGB.Team.

Paladin, Orgon, Ichigo, Craft, M@de, Goh Ah Meng, Rivet, Sleeping Prince, Jac, Zazaer, Superzhu, Nemesis, Devilution, and many more, were getting very well on Alphamoon. They even form a brotherhood of CSS (not really a clan). However, the brotherhood was short-lived. Someone was jealous about this friendship and started tearing it up by banning one by one using the usual reason of cheating.

After Paladin was banned in all SSGB servers, he started messing around in the zombie and Thai servers. Paladin decided to go to Singapore to meet his CSS buddies (He even invited the clan leader of SSGB). Eventually it was Rivet, Infernal and his friend, Killer and Paladin that turned up at e2max.

The Asian Counter Strike League started in February 2007. SSGB entered in division 3, but quickly found ourselves outmatched by the opposition. They managed to play 2 rounds of the league, but lost in both matches. Then, in the 3rd week, they won a match against a Korean team (16-1 to SSGB). Their joy was short lived, as the losing team made an appeal against the SSGB team for cheating. They accused the clan leader of SSGB of cheating. Subsequently, SSGB was eliminated from the ACSL.

M@de left because the clan leader was finding excuses to explain to the members why he has cheated. M@de was without a clan and still plays on SSGB Alphamoon occasionally. One day that the SSGB clan leader accused M@de for cheating and banned him from playing on his server.

This was when M@de and a few others contributors, Rivet, Sleeping Prince, Orgon and Old Mice, decided to fork out a small sum to start a CSS server. This is how OMG pub server was formed. OMG stands for Old Man Gang. Reason for this name was because the 5 contributors were considered old comparing their age to others players in the server.

With the formation of OMG 32 players slots pub server in August 2007, OMG was able to attract the regular players on SSGB Alphamoon to OMG server. In the beginning, there was Ogron, M@de, Rivet, Jac, Ichigo, Superzhu, Sleeping Prince, Nemesis, Zazaer, Goh Ah Meng and Paladin. Paladin decided that since the server was called OMG, he started using the [OMG] tag on for fun and that was when it caught on. Initially it was decided that a clan was not necessary but later it was found to be due to the fact that our server became so popular and a lot of players were using the [OMG] tag. That was when the owners of the server decided to formalize [OMG] as a clan. At peak, OMG was having about 40+ active members. Currently, due to some restructuring in removing inactive members, the clan now has about 26 active members.

OMG is a clan that was formed by friendship that was created during our game play on Alphamoon. We are just like brothers and sisters. We hope that our core values of Respect, Integrity and Trustworthy would keep us together for future releases of Counter Strike.
